Gorongosa National Park
Gorongosa National Park (GNP) in Mozambique is perhaps Africa’s greatest wildlife restoration story. In 2008, the Government of Mozambique and the Carr Foundation formed the “Gorongosa Project”, a 20-year Public-Private Partnership for the joint management of the Park and for human development in the communities near the Park. On June 7th 2018, the Government of Mozambique signed an extension of the management agreement of Gorongosa National Park for another 25 years.

Quirimbas Archipelago
In the far north remote area of Mozambique the Quirimbas Archipelago lies just off shore, and is a 200 km long chain of 12 major islands, 20 smaller, coralline outcrops and endless sand-bar beaches.
With most of the southern part of the Archipelago being protected by the Quirimbas National Park, the sea life, and coral formations are beautifully looked after, allowing for one of the most pristine coastlines in the world.
Any journey to these outlying islands will be a highlight for travellers, with luxurious and small lodges being wonderfully hospitable, and offering a true island style experience.

Southern Coast Mozambique
The Souithern Coast of Mozambique is between the capital city of Maputo and the Kosi Bay/South Africa border. Warmed by the Indian Ocean current moving south from the equator, the country’s clear waters and subtropical climate provides travellers with an enticing welcoming beachside escape.
Mozambique enjoys a tropical climate, with plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The average temperature is around 28°C and the weather along the coast is sunny and warm, even in mid-Winter. The country has two seasons; a wet season (from October to March) and a dry season (from April to September) – with very little variation in temperatures between the two.

Vilanculos & Bazaruto Archipelago
The Bazaruto Archipelago is made up of 4 large islands, Bazaruto, Benguerra, Santa Isobel and Santa Carolina. The town of Vilcanulos lies on the mainland, and is the gateway to exploring these tropical beauties.
Vilanculos has a number of bars and restaurants and is bustling with a vibrant nightlife. From here there are flights out to the islands, where a range of luxurious beach lodges has been set up to make the most of the beautiful waters and coral reefs.
