Greg and family offer guests a warm personal welcome to their lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge.
Without exception, the many guests who have stayed comment on the uniqueness of the home and that photographs on the website do not do it justice. Don’t let the name “Town House” deceive you – the guest lodge is more of a mansion!
From the pool patio deck you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, the occasional fish eagle calling, pretty little sunbirds flitting from hibiscus flower to strelitzia flower sipping nectar, and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by! Or you may like to take a short stroll with a bottle of chilled wine across the open bushveld at sunset to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below.
The emphasis of the spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, so family suites are available. We are also pet friendly (by arrangement) and arrange special rates for larger groups. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the sparkling blue swimming pool.
We offer warm and friendly hospitality – a home away from home.
The Sabie Town House Guest Lodge is within walking distance of Sabie village with its selection of shops and a very good choice of restaurants.
The Sabie Town House Guest Lodge is the perfect venue for your weekend getaway, your intimate wedding venue with accommodation or your budget friendly small business conference.
