Elevated above the landscape and built on an old anthill lies Nambu Camp, a simple yet sophisticated camp located in the heart of the Olifants West Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger. This 6-bedroom safari camp overlooks a winding dry riverbed and bustling waterhole. The Drakensberg Mountain range carves across the distant skyline, serving as the perfect backdrop to this intimate camp.
Nambu camp has a total of 6 safari-style rooms and can accommodate up to 12 people. The rooms are well equipped for a stylish and comfortable stay in the bush. Each room has air-conditioning, ample storage spaces and all the creature comforts from home. There are 2 luxury chalets equipped with modern interiors and private balconies (Rooms 1 and 2) and 4 standard chalets with simple and authentic interiors (Rooms 3, 4, 5 and 6).
Rooms have comfortable king size beds with modern and stylish bathrooms, looking out to the bushveld beyond. Winding wooden pathways lead the way from the main camp, through the lush gardens and to the secluded rooms.
Located on a Big 5 reserve, Nambu Camp is truly on the doorstep of nature. Daily game drives are designed to introduce guests to the local wildlife of the area, and always include coffee stops (morning) and sundowner stops (evening).
